My name is Maggie Matthews and I have started this Go Fund Me account for the Blalock family. Recently Kevin Blalock (Husband and father) received a Kidney/Pancreas transplant at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. Yet, even with all the prayers and hope that this potential miracle possessed, things took a tragic turn and Kevin passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2016.
Kevin had been battling health issues for years and there was not a moment that passed when his wife, Liz, was not at his side. Through everything Kevin endured, he continued to be an amazing father and husband who loved his family immensely. The bond between this family is something that has never ceased to amaze me. They truly were the family people dream about having and being.
I am asking for contributions to be made to the family in order to help cover the costs of funeral arrangements, healthcare bills, and everyday living expenses. Liz Blalock will now be the sole provider for the family, working as a special education teacher assistant and she couldn't be better at or more dedicated to her job.
This means so much to me because I knew and loved Kevin and his family dearly. I know the last thing Kevin would have ever wanted is for his his wife and children to struggle financially. Kevin loved them with every fiber of his being and was never afraid to say it aloud or multiple times a day.
In today’s world, I realize that there are many people in need of so many things. I am just asking from the bottom of my heart that you keep this family in mind and that any amount donated will help and be deeply appreciated.
