Help Jeff Fight Brain Cancer

Jeff Heimerman is fifty years old and was recently diagnosed with the highest grade glioblastoma multiforme brain tumor. This diagnosis was completely shocking to everyone due to his healthy, active lifestyle. After an initial misdiagnosis and hospitalization to reduce brain swelling, he underwent an emergency surgery removing up to 90% of the tumor. The pathology confirmed the most aggressive type of brain tumor with the highest probability of reoccurrence. This fund is to help pay for medical bills and travel expenses to The Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke Cancer Institute for further treatment possibilities.

A little about Jeff: He is a loved father, husband, son, brother, uncle, pet lover, and friend. The love he has for his country can only be surpassed by that of the love for his family. Jeff has been a proud Christian his whole life and continues to pray for healing. He is an honorable and honest man demonstrating his faith by never turning away a friend or stranger who needs a helping hand. He is a proud supporter of our troops and donor to the U.S. military and veterans. As a proud, hard-working patriot, he supports American jobs by purchasing goods made in the U.S.A. Hobbies he enjoys include boating with friends and family during the summer, as well as spending time with his two dogs, Buddie and Middy, who he spoils rotten. Any outdoor activity or project in which he helps others brings him such joy! He has played over 1,250 fast-pitched softball games and loves sports and competitions. Here's to Jeff being able to play 1,250 more city league softball games!

His whole life he has given his time, talent and treasure to his parish, children's sports programs, and anyone in need of a helping hand. He enjoys working on cars and building anything someone wants or needs. Another favorite of his is riding his four-wheeler. All of his life he has worked hard and never asked for help from anyone. Jeff is the most generous and loving man anyone would be lucky to know. This diagnosis won’t stop him from enjoying what he loves to do. We hope that prayers and support can guide him through this with the help of family and friends as well.

Throughout this fight, we want to thank everyone who has helped our family for their generosity. You are helping someone who has been on the giving side of things his whole life and has never asked for anything in return. Thank you for any and everything you have given, in the form of prayers, donations, cards, and so much more. God Bless.
