Blessings for Tía Conchita

My name is Secret Ramirez, and I am raising funds for my great-aunt, Maria Concepcion Guerra (Tía Conchita), who is 86 years old. She is my grandmother’s sister and a beloved member of our family.

Recently, due to a technical error with the Social Security Administration, her benefits were suddenly stopped. Social Security has acknowledged the mistake and is working to fix it, but they have told her it may take up to a year before her payments are restored.

This is devastating because Social Security is her only source of income. As a result of the payments stopping, her Medicare coverage is also in danger of lapsing. We are raising funds to help cover her Medicare payments for the next three to six months, as well as basic living expenses during this difficult time.

My great-aunt is a widow who has always lived with faith and humility. She is a devout Catholic who prays daily, and our family is doing everything we can to support her—but we need help to make sure she doesn’t go without medical coverage or essentials while Social Security corrects this error.
