Mellonie Helmuth was diagnosed with Influenza A and double Pneumonia on January 4th. Mellonie was admitted to ICU in Hanford where her body quickly began to decline, becoming septic. She spent 5 days in Hanford where they exhausted all the resources they had to care for her. On Tuesday, January 8, Mell was airlifted to CRMC in Fresno and admitted to their ICU.
We believe in the power of prayer and Mellonie has been improving. In 24 hours we moved from hopeless to hopeful. Mellonie continues to fight for her life, but is improving slowly under the care of some of the best physicians in the area and by the grace of God. We are hopeful she will recover, but it will be a long road.
Mellonie is a single mom of 2 beautiful children, Noah and Savannah. These funds will support her and her children while Mellonie continues to recover. It will be a long road, but we are prayerfully believing in a miracle. Thank you for your prayers, and linking arms with us to bless Mellonie and her children, we truly are better together.
