Blessings for Laurie Martinez

Laurie was recently diagnosed with Li Fraumeni Syndrome,  (Li-Fraumeni syndrome (LFS) is an inherited familial predisposition to a wide range of certain, often rare, cancers. This is due to a change (mutation) in a tumor suppressor gene known as TP53. The resulting p53 protein produced by the gene is damaged (or otherwise rendered malfunctioning) and is unable to help malignant tumors from developing.) With LFS, she will do full body MRIS, Colonoscopies, endoscopy, etc. Her colonoscopy on May 22 found 2 polyps and one came back malignant so on June 8 she will be having surgery to have part of her colon removed and then consult with her oncologist where they will go from there after testing has been done on that part of the colon. Please join us in praying for her, Michael, Naomi and Ezra. Pray specifically that Naomi and Ezra do not inherit this gene and that everything will go well with surgery. God bless!!
