Blessings for Kate’s Dad: Fix the Stairlift

My name is Katrina (Kate for short). Nine years ago, my father was diagnosed with CLL (leukemia). My mother had just passed days before his diagnosis. I moved my father in with me to help care for him, as he’s also had multiple spinal surgeries and a neck surgery. We are still battling cancer.
A stairlift was installed in our split-level home to make navigating the stairs safer and easier for my father. However, the company is out of Pittsburgh, PA, and the stairlift has stopped working. The service call alone is $500 and doesn’t include whatever the stairlift may need. Recently, we have been bombarded with multiple doctor appts, testing, procedures, etc., that simply do not allow for extra funds.
Getting the stairlift fixed and operational would be a blessing in disguise. I have really struggled to get to the point of asking for help, as that’s never been me. I always figure it out, but I’d be lying to say I couldn’t use the help. I work full-time and take care of my father’s needs as the sole caregiver. I just need a little help to get the stairlift operational.
If you feel inclined to donate, let me say “thank you” in advance. If you aren’t able to donate but could share and send up a prayer for my father’s health concerns, I’d greatly appreciate that also.
