Blessings for Jennifer and Richard Largen
Donation protected
Donation for Richard and Jennifer Large for Medical Expenses and Family Needs.
On August 25th, Richard woke up having numbness and mobility issues. He was taken to Twin County Community Hospital and was later released with pain medication for his headache. The numbness and mobility issues had subsided. Later that same day he began to have the same issues with numbness and mobility. He was taken to Radford Hospital and determined that he had experienced a Stroke.
Richard was then sent to UVA Hospital and after testing, it was found that he had a clot in one of his arteries in his brain. Because of the Stroke symptoms, he was having a hard time breathing which lead to a breathing tube. The diagnosis is Arterial Thrombosis that was removed through something like an Angiogram. After the procedure and the MRI, the doctors told his family “that where he had the stroke on his brain stem is severe they don’t know what state he is in, whether he is in a coma like state where he can’t respond or if he will not be able to wake up at all. The Stroke doctors came in and said they examined him and they said he has extensions which means more than likely the spinal cord is not connected to the brain so they can most positively say he will have no motor function in either arm or leg.
The family of Richard and Jennifer Largen are setting up this Go Fund me account to help with expenses for his medical (which he has no insurance), His family needs and travel expenses, and any bills that will be coming due. Richard and Jennifer just had a sweet blessing of a baby girl Maelyn who is only 3 months old. This is an awful hard time for this sweet little family.
I am asking this great community of Churches, Families, and Neighbors to show this family LOVE during this tragic time. We will appreciate any donations, but more importantly We ask for your prayers, because we know a True Miracle Worker.
If you feel more comfortable donating items to the family, you can reach out to [phone redacted] via text to set up drop off information.
