Hey friends. My name is Cyndi. In the last 6 months, with your help, we have been able to assist 2 single moms with securing transportation or housing supplies. God has been bringing these gals into my life. Acts 2 talks about the New Testament church and how they sold their property and assisted those in need. Along those lines, in today's world, I am to trying to help another single mom (no child support) who is in a desperate situation of great need.

She is a Christian and goes to my church. She has been faithful to tithe and attend each weekend service and small groups. She is committed and growing so much in the Lord. She has a good job and has excelled in it. That is the good news!

She has hit a really hard spot in life recently. She has been having serious car issues for about 6 months. She has poured a lot of money into this car and recently got it paid off. The latest issue is transmission problems. It is just time to do something different.

On top of that, she is living in a family situation that is not healthy and she needs to move. The relationship is not good with other family members and can be volatile at times. She seldom has the space to even cook for her family of 3 kids. This is a situation where I want to give enough info so you can understand but still respect the sensitivity of it.

She has been in this family home for 3 years since her mom passed. At that time, she put all her things in a storage unit. The storage unit roof collapsed, and water ruined the upholstery items she had stored…a brand new sectional, linens and all of her mattresses! She has filed a damage claim with the storage unit company but was told only a minimal amount would be paid. She is trying to get into a govt subsidy apt but will need so many new things for her family.

She has been receiving counseling from church personnel and is hoping the church can help out some. But the need is just so great that I felt I should reach out to others to assist her.

If you know of someone who has a good reliable car for sale or to donate, please let us know. In addition, we have secured a kitchen table/chairs and she has dishes, silverware and kitchen supplies. All the other things that create a home are needed.
