Update from Amy:
Trent lost his fight here on Earth, at 9:12 p.m. He was surrounded by those who love him. We appreciate all of your love and prayers, please keep the prayers coming. I will share arrangements as soon as we have a plan.
Update from Amy and Trent:
Trent is finally approved to be listed. The journey has been so long. We thought listing would bring relief. It does in some ways, but God has a funny way of doing things. Trent's condition declined significantly over the past few days. His blood pressure dropped to incredibly low levels, and his kidneys have started to struggle. In order to hopefully help both recover, they have put him on a balloon pump, to give his heart rest. The pump relieves some burden on the heart. We hope and pray that this does the trick. He is being listed at a level 2, due to serious arrhythmias that don't respond to medication, and the inability to use an Lvad on him. This places him at the top of the list. We obviously have no idea on timing. All God's timing. Thank you for your love and prayers. Our family is forever thankful.
This Gofundme is being started to help cover medical costs for Trent Jones. Trent has a genetic form of Cardiomyopathy and this has caused him to need a heart transplant and he is unable to work. While the Drs have been assessing him for a heart transplant, it is becoming more and more apparent that years of heart failure has taken its toll on his liver as well. Trent's team of Drs feel that it will be necessary for him to have a liver transplant at the same time as the heart transplant.
Through all of this, Trent and Amy have remained positive, faithful followers of Christ. They put Him first in all of their decisions and have unwaivering faith. Even though they are being put through the most trying of times, they always put their trust in the Lord's Hands.
Trent has always taken care of his family by working as an operator at a local chemical plant. However, the cost of living is at an all time high even without large amounts of medical bills. Both Trent and Amy are always looking to help others and I think it is our turn to help them. So many have already showered them with blessings, but I wanted people to have an opportunity to contribute straight to the Jones'. If you are unable to contribute financially, we ask that you continue to pray for Trent, Amy, their children and his team or Drs.
