Blessing the Harms Family
Donation protected
My name is Sara, I'm Tom & Carrie's sister-in-law. Tom & Carrie had a long journey to parenthood, ultimately adopting 3 beautiful children: Neveah, Juan, and Reagan. For anyone who knows them, Tom and Carrie are willing to help anyone, with anything, at any time. They have touched the lives of so many through the years and now it's our turn to give back.
Tom, age 56, was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma (you can read more about this type of cancer here ) on January 10, 2022. He started treatment on January 17, which consists of a variety of pills, including chemo, as well as shots and infusions weekly. While there's a long road ahead of them, we trust in God and pray for his complete healing. Treatments are expensive, and Tom isn't able to work as much because of the time it takes each week to get these treatments. Any amount you donate is very much appreciated, but even more than that, we covet your prayers.
We ask you to join us in praying for Tom, Carrie, and the kids:
- Pray for complete healing. We believe we serve a mighty God who can do anything. We also believe He makes no mistakes and has a plan.
- Pray for the treatment plan to work, and for the cancer to go into remission.
- Pray for minimal or no side effects from the medications.
- Pray for peace and comfort.
In addition, Carrie has created a notebook of Bible verses and encouragements for Tom to read during treatments. If you'd like to send any encouragements, please email them to blesstheharmsfamily at gmail.com.
We are thankful for all the prayers above all else.
