We’ve come together again in unison to give an update on our dad’s condition. First and foremost we want to thank everyone who has donated on his behalf and are also continuing to. We are very grateful to everyone that has reached out.
We rejoice knowing that God received an Angel this morning at 9:55 a.m. Though it may be a hard time, and yes it’ll take a lot of strength to press on, with God it is possible. We’re relieved knowing that he is no longer suffering and in pain.
Coming from his 3 children, we are now reaching out again, with open hearts, asking for any type of donation, small or big, to help us celebrate his life and wonderful legacy he’s left behind. Especially with his birthday slowly, but surely approaching on September 22nd. Anything is very much appreciated!
We definitely thank God for what he’s done and the plans he has for us in this life. We know God makes no mistakes and has a plan for our life. God will definitely get us all through this journey.
Love Always,
Dezmond, Dayzia, & Taryin ❤️
As the 3 of us sit and write this with genuine honesty and open hearts. We do it in honor of our dad Steven Booker. Who no matter what , is always there.
We are all in college exactly 20, 21, and 22 in age. Our dad is currently 46 years old and looking forward to celebrating more love and life with us this year and many more years after.
Unfortunately we’ve just been informed that he has been diagnosed w/ Stage IV stomach cancer and now has been placed in hospice. We’re first asking for honest prayer warriors to send nothing but positivity and sincere blessings his way.
Our dads name means “Crown”. He has embodied every bit of that as far back as we can remember. From the way he dresses and carries himself, to the love and concern he not only shows us, his children, but others as well. He was adopted at birth and always grew up looking for his family while also embracing strangers as though they are.
When our mothers were ill, he took care of us, he taught us how to fish, play dominoes, ride bicycles (& fix them), skate (not as good as him), and so many other things. He is a true chef and has worked at some of the top restaurants and hotels in Pensacola, Fl. He may not have had much but he shows us all the love needed. A jokester, a friend, and confidant. He’s had both highs and lows. He’s seen the hills and valleys as we all do in life.
As we know and believe what God can AND will do, we are creating this fund to aid in the expenses for his continuing care which include, but aren’t limited to, therapy, medications, travel expenses, and any other things that may be needed during his healing process. We are beyond grateful for any help offered whether they’re in forms of your powerful, heartfelt prayers or any donations.
Again, we claim AND receive his healing, blessings, and testimonies that are yet to come. Thank you all for taking the time to read this message and please continue to keep us in your prayer. POSITIVE THOUGHTS ONLY!
With loving wishes,
Dezmond Booker, Dayzia Booker, and Taryin Booker
