Blessing for Jay

Saturday night Jay’s apartment had a random fire caused by a faulty fish tank filter. Luckily, he was able to save his pets and put the fire out before it spread to other apartments in the building. However, much of his apartment and belongings are damaged/destroyed from smoke and soot. It is unclear how long it will be until he can move back in.

Jay is a well known pillar of the community here in Jeffersonville, providing one of the best brunches in town at his self owned & run restaurant: The Broken Yoke. Anyone who has eaten there knows the love & dedication that goes into his food.

We are hoping to help collect donations to help him get into a new apartment as soon as possible, replace some of the things he has lost, and help cover extra expenses that come at a time like this. Anything is very appreciated! Everyone who has met Jay knows how he always keeps a smile on your face, so let’s try and do the same for him ☺️
