Hello, and thank you for taking a moment to read my story.
After months of hospitalizations and intensive medical care, I was blessed to receive a life-saving liver transplant on October 7, 2025. I am deeply grateful for this second chance at life and for the incredible medical teams who carried me through one of the most challenging seasons I have ever faced.
In addition to my transplant journey, I have also been diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumor, which has added another layer of complexity to my medical care and recovery. Managing this diagnosis alongside my post-transplant care has required ongoing treatments, specialist visits, and close medical monitoring.
While my health continues to improve, the road to recovery is still ongoing. During my illness, I was let go from my job and no longer have a position or health benefits to return to. This has created an unexpected and overwhelming situation, as post-transplant and cancer-related care are both essential and continuous.
I am a 62-year-old woman living in Lutz, Florida, and I was married less than a year ago. My husband has been my constant support and caregiver throughout this journey. He is retired and able to take on only limited short-term work so he can continue caring for me during my recovery.
At this time, I need continued medical follow-ups, medications, testing, and monitoring to protect my transplanted liver and manage my neuroendocrine tumor. Managing these necessary expenses without insurance has been incredibly challenging, and this is why I am reaching out for help.
Any support — whether through a donation or simply sharing this page — will help ease the financial burden and allow me to focus on healing. Your kindness, encouragement, and generosity mean more than I can express, and I am truly thankful for every bit of support.
Thank you for being part of my recovery and for helping me move forward with hope.
