Bless the Schurr Family After Total Loss

Help us bless the Schurr family!

For years, Collin and Brooke, along with their daughter Ellie, experienced many unexplained/undiagnosed health problems. As a last resort, they took the recommendation and had their home inspected for toxic mold. They discovered 3 of the 5 most toxic molds in the kitchen. Due to the type of mold, they could not keep most of their belongings as it’s extremely aggressive and spreads easily. Only keeping glass and metal items, they had to forfeit all clothing, bedding, furniture, childhood memories, baby keepsakes, home decorations, food, etc.

After the mold was remediated, they moved back in, but within a few months, the health problems came back worse. Suspecting mold again, they retested and found more toxic mold in the bathrooms. Again, they were forced to get rid of all belongings and move out for remediation.

Two weeks ago, the family was able to move back in and are so grateful! They are, however, back at square one and only own some dishes and two air mattresses. Unfortunately, they can’t accept second-hand items as the mold has caused Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome, and they're highly sensitive to any levels of mold that can transfer through materials. After losing everything twice, they're hoping to raise funds to offset the costs to replace furniture, clothing, toddler items, dishes, and other household needs.
