Bless the Schecks

The day I met the Schecks was a day when God's love for me was affirmed.  The Reverend (Pastor Ray) and Joanie surrounded me with a divine kindness that healed wounds and opened my heart to Jesus.  For over 20 years they have blessed my life and the life of my son Cody.  Their home is and has been a refuge for countless people.  Their love and grace have touched the lives of people across continents.  Anyone who has been lucky enough to meet them knows what I am trying to convey.  Their generous hearts know no boundary.  Today I learned that sometimes evil does win battles - sometimes the enemy is victorious even over God's most loved shepards. But God's grace and goodness always wins the war.  I have created this GoFund me page in hopes that all the people who have felt God's love through the lives of the Reverend, Joanie, Cristina, Charles, Sindu or John will help me rally around them during this difficult time.    I don't know all the details.  And I don't need to know the details.  What I do know is that the Reverend and Joanie have lost their life savings because of some incredibly evil people on the other end of a phone.  Scams are real.  I fell victim to a phone scam myself back in the late 90's.   I was humiliated and ashamed when a 3 minute conversation caused me to lose a couple thousand dollars.  Imagine how the Schecks must feel knowing that their loss will not just inconvenience them for a couple of days or weeks but will impact every day of their future and the future of their children and their grandchildren.  A mistake was made but we can not let this mistake define the life of a man who has devoted his entire life to others.    Please help me bless the Schecks and bring peace of mind to a family whose prayers of peace and blessings for all of us are sent upward daily.
