If you knew my friend, Jerry Kohout you know that he was a man that would do anything for anyone in a time of need. He was a special kind of human and even through all of life's trials, Jerry came out on top and he tried to give back to the world in any way that he could.

Sadly, Jerry unexpectedly entered the Kingdom of Heaven on February 6, 2022 and this has left his family broken and in a very difficult position. In November Jerry and his wife, Danell made the decision for him to leave his full-time job at Fed-Ex to care for his elderly parents in their home. While this was a paid care-taker position, Jerry had a lapse in benefits and no one could have foreseen what was to come. Jerry and Danell had planned to get new benefits and get their affairs in order after the holidays, but then he got sick and things spiraled quickly.

My purpose for asking for your help is to give Danell and the kids some financial peace of mind as they navigate this very difficult time. They are left to pick up the pieces and also continue to provide care for their grandparents. This is no small task.

The Lord says, "a kind gesture can reach a wound that only compassion can heal." Please find it in your heart to help this family and make this huge loss just a tiny bit easier.
