On Thursday, November 20, life changed suddenly for the Burnette family. Maya, their 17-year-old daughter, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). She has already begun an aggressive treatment plan, starting with six weeks of in-hospital care as doctors work diligently to attack the cancer and support her body through this fight.

As you can imagine, this journey comes with overwhelming emotional, physical, and financial challenges for Kamilah and Chris and their entire family.
