Bless the Bryson Family During A Time of Need

After a long and painful journey through several years of sickness, Amanda was finally diagnosed with Hairy Cell Leukemia. During the last few weeks of chemotherapy treatments for this leukemia, Amanda contracted Covid in December. The cancer and chemo had weakened her body’s defenses to such a low level, that Covid took a tremendous toll on her. She was in the ICU for 5 months being treated for Covid pneumonia and the damage left behind by that virus. 

While doctors considered a possible lung transplant, her body was not strong enough. On May 21st, Amanda’s husband, Josh, shared the following update:

It is with happy, sad news that I share that Amanda has received complete healing this morning and can rest pain-free in the arms of Jesus whom she loved and served with all her life. 

She passed peacefully this morning at 3:25 with her brother and myself by her side.

"This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it."

Thank you brothers and sisters for all your prayers and support for Amanda and her family these past few months. I ask that you pray now for Hannah, Lydia and Josiah.

God is good and I pray He will be glorified in Amanda's passing.

This fundraiser is aimed at supporting Josh and Amanda’s 3 school age children.  Your gifts to Amanda through this page will be used for funeral expenses, childcare expenses, medical expenses, counseling services and loss of income for the family. 

The outpouring of prayers, encouragement and support from friends and strangers alike has been an amazing blessing to the entire Bryson family throughout this journey. They are incredibly grateful for everything.
