Hi, my name is Margaret, a great friend of the Balla family. They mean a lot to me and I wanted to start this Go fund me in their honor.

As all of us have had trouble in the last few years, allow me to bring your attention to some of the challenges the Ballas had to overcome and are still trying to overcome:

In 2021 their home was destroyed by an ice storm and they had to rebuild from scratch. They were displaced from their home for over a year, and once the home was ready, they had to fully furnish it because they lost everything. Eight months ago, Emmanuel lost his job and hasn’t been able to find one since, though he is earnestly searching. Then, in December 2022, Emmanuel had a heart attack that shook their family. Thankfully Emmanuel has been recovering after his procedure. Jackie, who is a stay-at-home mom, is trying to balance their four boys, motherhood, and wifehood, all the while she and Emmanuel trust God for provision. If that’s not enough to be going through, they started suffering from some food allergies and had to adjust their diet for the whole family.

No one’s life has been easy in the last few years, and I get that, but the amount of challenges the Balla family has had to go through and is still going through, breaks my heart. I wanted to help in some way. I asked the family what 6 months of living expenses would look like, and that’s how I came up with the $30k. After all of the challenges they have experienced, these funds can ease their financial hardships while they figure out how to navigate this next season of life.
