Hello, my name is Jim Bures,

I'm raising funds for my Pastor, Pastor Eric Sahlberg of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. I want to raise $5,000 for him and his wife (the goal of $5,250 will account for all platform fees). The goal is to bless our Pastor with a nice gift. My wish is to give Pastor Eric and his wife the funds to fly round trip to Thailand before his daughter moves away from there in June 2026.

However, I want to stress that this money is for Pastor Eric to use however he would like, even if he does not fly to Thailand.

Pastor Eric is the Senior Pastor at: https://mtcalvaryacton.org/ and works tirelessly, to his own peril, to shepherd us. Pastor Eric began serving at Mt. Calvary in 2018 and became the Senior Pastor during the pandemic in 2020. Prior to this, he led a Church plant called ConnectingPoint. Pastor Eric is a published author of the book Baptism Pictures of Grace, available on Amazon. He became a Lutheran Pastor, after a successful career in business, to get a monkey off his back.

Pastor Eric means a lot to me and I believe in honoring those in authority over me. Pastor Eric has employed me doing tasks ranging from Graphic Design to Janitorial Duties. Pastor Eric shepherded me through many personal challenges, something I think requires the patience of a saint.
