Bless our Brothers Family in Healing

Donation protected
Hello Brothers and Sisters, Family, Friends, and Supporters,

This past week, our Brother, Division Chief Jimmy Jacques, faced an unimaginable tragedy involving his two young daughters. Both were airlifted to MUSC Shawn Jenkins Hospital for urgent life-saving care. While his older daughter is recovering with minor injuries, his 13-year-old daughter, Abbey, remains in serious condition.

Abbey recently underwent life-saving surgery to repair a torn aorta, and she’s now facing additional surgeries to treat severe injuries to her pelvis, femur, and more.

Abbey is a vibrant, adventurous young girl who loves spending time outdoors with her family and friends. She enjoys barrel racing with her sisters, mudding on her four-wheeler, and taking care of her animals. Abbey has big dreams of working with animals when she grows up. Though she loves fishing and hunting, she’s not a fan of early mornings! Abbey is one of three sisters, including her twin.

In this challenging time, we are humbly asking for your support on behalf of the Charleston Firefighters Local 61. Your help means the world to us, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
