Bless my Brother

A little over 2 years ago my brother was diagnosed with kidney cancer, he had surgery and did what his doctors told him to do. All followup appointments showed that he was in remission. However, last month he saw the doctor for a concern. After several tests he was told he has a rare aggressive form of kidney cancer--stage 4.
Frankly the prognosis is not what any of us wanted to hear. Of course the conventional treatment protocol is chemo and radiation with a very low long term success rate. We have been doing a lot of research and want to offer him the best treatment available.
My brother is an amazing loving honest man with the biggest heart. He has always been available to anyone in need--especially his family. He never has a negative thing to say about anyone.
There were countless times he changed his plans to come and help me when Mom was having trouble. He surprised me with a new used oven when he heard mine had been broken for months. He always found us affordable vehicles when we needed one (not wanting a commission). He has been at our daughters volleyball games, graduations, birthdays, weddings, baby showers and so much more. Not only is he the best brother anyone could have, he is an excellent husband, father, grandfather and uncle--Jerry simply loves people.
My brother Jerry is one of the most selfless people I know, and I am not ready to say goodbye--none of us are.
Therefore, I am seeking to raise enough money to send him (and his wife) to a cancer clinic in Mexico with a long track-record of successfully treating late-stage cancer. Even if they are not able to fully cure his cancer, I want to bless Jerry and Janie with a beautiful restful retreat together while working to extend his time with family. Instead of staying home running from one doctor appointment to another in stressful traffic while trying to keep up with all the household chores, I want to offer Jerry (and Janie) a restful healing place where all his needs are met.
One of the important steps to healing cancer is to remove stress. Therefore, a 3-4 week stay at a beautiful treatment facility (paid in full) will offer him a chance to rest and relax, with no worries.
There is volumes of research that show that a natural approach to healing improves the quality of life and tends to have a significant edge over conventional treatment. My brother deserves that kind of hope.
Also, while Jerry (& Janie) are in Mexico, I want to have a work party to repair the deck on their house. Therefore, I have included a budget for the wood and paint needed. Jerry is very concerned about not being there for Janie and his family and is always seeking to make sure everything is repaired and taken care of. I want to lift that burden from his shoulders.
Also included in this fund raiser is money for round trip air-fair and an over the counter medicine not covered by insurance which has shown to significantly support the immune system of cancer patients.
My hope is to have the funds to send them to the clinic as soon as the first week of August--if not sooner.
