Bless Michael Fulton through esophageal cancer.
I never knew how much I needed a big brother until I met Michael Fulton.
My name is Michelle, and I am a friend / coworker of Michael's for the last 13-14 years until about a month and a half ago when things changed.
- Michael is a 65-year-old free spirit who has been caring for others for the last 30 years through Respiratory and Sleep Technology. He has graced us all with his patience, sincere hugs, songs that were both beautiful and dramatic upon request, and gave us joyous belly laughs with a colorful sense of humor - patients included in this as well. He has been the big brother I've always longed for who always helped without question or judgement and his core of strength has given me a beloved foundation of security through devastating losses and challenges life has brought.
Michael was 6 weeks from retiring at age 66 when he began having difficulty swallowing and losing weight. Two weeks ago, he was diagnosed with stage 3 esophageal cancer and now has a nasal gastric feeding tube and chemo port, so his journey of suffrage is about to entail fighting the unwavering, swift, monstrous disease that steals our loved one's time, health, and finances.
Michael is a dignified man that many have depended on, and he was there for all of us. I would like to return that goodwill and valued solidarity as soon as possible, so that his only focus is to get through this and give all his energy to the fight for his life...not the financial woes ahead.
Any monetary means will be given directly to Michael upon receiving for any bills accrued.
Thank you all for taking the time to read this and any funds given are genuinely appreciated from the bottom of our hopeful hearts.
