DADE & KRISTIN CUNNINGHAM

Donation protected
I am Dade’s Aunt Lynn and my heart is aching for what my nephew and his wife are going through. It is very apparent to me that they need outside help at this time. I have set up this GoFundMe page in the hope that it will help them at this critical time in their lives.
Dade and Kristin have been married for nine years. They love working with children and sharing their love of Christ with them. Kristin has a deep passion for education and teaches at a small Christian school in North Texas. Their hearts desire was to have a family of their own. After seeing several doctors and investing in fertility treatments they found out on Mother’s Day 2024, that they were expecting their miracle child. However, unforeseen circumstances sought to rob them of their joy. Dade’s previous employer had to downsize, and Dade lost his job. There were several months of unemployment before he was able to find work. During this time, Dade had an unfortunate car accident that totaled his car. He has been driving his wife’s car which was damaged last week by a large tire that flew off a truck landing on the hood of his car and causing damage that now needs to be repaired.
In October, Kristin went to the doctor and was told that her baby was suffering from growth restriction due to a lack of blood flow through the umbilical cord. The doctor immediately admitted Kristin to the hospital. Kristin is in the hospital being monitored closely to prevent her from losing the baby. What started out as possibly a two week stay in the hospital has turned into an extended stay. Her due date was in January but now she will deliver her baby boy, Kamden, by C-section in December. It is uncertain as to how long the baby will remain in the NICU. The financial cost of an extensive stay in the hospital and the NICU, for the baby, will both far exceed Kristin’s medical insurance coverage. Every day that Kristin misses teaching, a percentage of her salary is deducted from her paycheck to pay a substitute teacher which dramatically reduces her income. Unfortunately, Dade has been told he has a hemorrhage in his eye affecting the optical nerve. It requires surgery as soon as possible which will cause him to miss some work.
Dade and Kristin’s faith remains strong despite all the overwhelming challenges that face them.
Dade and Kristin want you to know how grateful they are that you took the time to read this and for your consideration in donating. If you feel led to contribute, please know what a huge blessing this will be for them.
It is our hope to help relieve these financials burdens, by raising $30,000 to help cover the loss of income and current and future medical expenses.
By the time Kamden is born, Kristin will have been in Baylor Hospital 2 months. Please join our family in praying for our Lords hand of protection on Kristin, Dade and baby Kamden.
