Bless a Single Mom & 3 kids with a Warm Home for Christmas.

Good morning, community. Thank you for being a kind and welcoming neighbor to a struggling Fluvanna resident. For the protection of their family, the recipient will remain anonymous but we can confirm the family will receive these funds immediately by receipt.
There is a local family who is in immediate need of help for housing. Single mom with 3 kids, one is special needs.
They are staying in a house that should be knocked down. Rats are present, black mold has been confirmed throughout, negligent landlord unable to handle any repairs, plexiglass on the windows, and it has begun to freeze outside. With a toddler in the home, she cannot stay where she is anymore. Mom is scared to lose her kids but can’t afford to find anywhere else to go and is being faced with the difficult decision to let them go to foster care till she gets on her feet or stay in a cold home together without safe drinking water in the winter simply to keep a roof over their heads.
I am in touch with their social service case manager and have verified all of the above. I have also confirmed that if she can come up with the deposit, social services can help her get into a new home locally.
After working 50 hrs a week for $13/hr just to come home to 3 hungry kids, she cannot afford to fix her situation on her own. We would love to bless this sweet family in a big way this holiday season.
We are asking for up to $3k for her to use toward her deposit, first month’s rent, and any other expenses she may have relocating.
She will have assistance from social services toward her utilities and food and is actively looking for a higher paying job.
Thank you for caring. We are calling on the Lord for a miracle. Praising His holy name and trusting in His favor for this need.
Can our community help us make a dream come true? Can we gift this sweet family with a home for the holidays?
Thank you.
