Bleakley’s second flood recovery

Hi, I’m Taylah and I have made this as myself, husband Chris and two young children have for a second time been hit by the mid north coast floods, in our small town of Wingham. This time the clean up is huge and we need help, something we have always been very reluctant and vulnerable to ask for as we work so hard for the life we have tried to create for our young family.

in March of 2021 myself, husband Chris and daughter lost everything in the mid north coast floods in a small town called Wingham after only living in it for 7 months. For a year and a half Chris worked tirelessly with loss of income to restore our home, including lifting the home as we were unable to get flood insurance being along the Wingham peninsula. We only just after almost 4 years had the house almost completely finished as we continued to restore once in it.

Fast forward to this week, may 2025 one of the biggest floods in history has hit us again, despite lifting the house it’s made its way in once more.

These funds will be used towards restoring any damage (structural and internal) and replacing important possessions lost and also help us with the overall clean up and possible loss of income as we work around cleaning up our property and limit that financial stress on us during this trying times.
