Bleak Soul Album & Emergency Fundraiser

Hi I'm Ben, I make emo music under the name Bleak Soul since departing As It Is in 2019.

Here's the deal, I want to continue finishing an album (containing Suffer Through, Nostalgia etc.) and making content for you all, but life is making that hard, and has put me in a precarious position.

This month the company I've been working at for 3 years liquidated leaving me in limbo not knowing if I will get paid for work I've done or if the new owners will keep me on. I live month to month and any spare money goes into Bleak Soul. If I can't pay my rent - I can't live in my home studio, give my dog a roof or create. (I am looking for a new job but it's tough out there)

This comes after a tough couple of years for Bleak Soul with a tour getting canceled mid-way through due to Covid and thus losing money, thousands on unfortunate car (my touring vehicle) repairs last year, my 10-year-old Macbook that I produce everything on about to die, and lingering debt I amassed from being in As It Is for 7 years.

When there are so many more important things going on in the world and times are tight for everyone, I know this may seem trivial - but there is nothing that gives me purpose in life more than music, and re-connecting and sharing stories with so many of you recently on TikTok has been so fun and rewarding. If anything I've ever made over the past 10 years in Bleak Soul, As It Is or even just my content has made you happy or brought you joy, please consider any donation so I can continue to provide and put out free content and music.

Any excess money raised will of course be put back into Bleak Soul (videos, gear, PR etc.)
