Friday afternoon my baby sister, her husband, and my wonderful niece and nephews were in a terrible car wreck outside of Oklahoma City, Ok. They were coming home to Tulsa after a long day of doctors visits for my nephew Carter. They were both ejected from the vehicle and my brother in law Joey did not survive the crash. He was an amazing man and he loved my baby sister fiercely. Jaci has too many critical injuries to list. My sister is going to be in the OKC hospital for one month minimum and then hopefully moved to Tulsa where we can all be near her. The children are bumped and bruised and have one broken arm between the three of them. They are tough as nails. We are now tasked with funeral expenses, medical bills, and keeping a roof over the children's heads as Jaci heals. I will be taking a leave of absence from work to make sure the kids are supported emotionally. Frank, Joeys father, has to deal with the hardest part of all. I would love to be able to make it easier and he will be the one making decisions about these funds and how they are to be used. Our first priority aside from healing will be making sure that Joey gets the service my darling sister will want him to have. My sister believes that we can all learn from each other and one thing I have learned from all of this is to be patient, kind, and gracious. The emotional support from complete strangers has been amazing and I cannot even believe the responses we have received. Thank you so much for the continued support.
