Blaze the Trail for Dale’s Recovery

As a way to share news and to help Dale through this time we’ve set up a recovery fund. 

Last weekend Dale was camping and hiking with friends in northern Pennsylvania. If you know Dale, you know she was in her element and having a great time. On Tuesday morning she suffered an ischemic stroke on the right cerebellum. Dale is still Dale, but the stroke has caused her to have right side deficits in speech, vision, and motor control. She cannot walk unassisted. She will be in the hospital in Pennsylvania until the end of the week and then will be transfered to an inpatient intensive rehab closer to home. Although Dale is incredibly tough, her recovery will be lengthy and expensive.

We, her four children, will be by her side always. At this time, we’re not able to take visitors, but get well cards would be awesome! Please send to 7821 Anson Court, Springfield, Va 22152

Dale is a giver of herself in so many ways. She’s been so many people’s cheerleader and the best supporter. We appreciate all your love and support for her now when she needs it!
