PREVIOUS UPDATE MAY, 2017>>>
ALERT! Blanquito Man Is In Hospital Emergency!

Blanquito Man is in hospital emergency and needs your help! This past Friday May 26th, after his 10th chemo session, he suddenly got very ill with extreme abdominal pain and losing consciousness and was brought by ambulance to ER. Complications from the cancer have made things more serious and now requires more surgery to intervene. (In addition to the 10 surgeries he’s already had). The tumor is pressing on the stomach, liver and kidney causing distress to all the organs, making it difficult to eat or function, and he’s had multiple procedures to place stents, tubes, and drains to bypass the tumor which have all created other complications. He needs your help more than ever to pull through this and have expenses covered to get the additional care he needs. Please donate anything you can and also wish him a happy birthday this weds May 31st- he’ll be spending it in the hospital and needs your love and support!

RECAP: WHAT HAPPENED?
Jose Andres Blanco (Blanquito Man) was diagnosed with colon cancer in Dec 2014 when he had emergency surgery for a tumor that ruptured his intestine. Since then he has had many more surgeries, as well as complications, infections, blood transfusions, extended hospital stays and many painful moments.

Last year we tried to get him to Mexico for alternative treatments as we were advised that chemo would be the only treatment offered here but it would  most likely make things worse at the same time it could help.

When we tried to arrange to travel to Mexico for alternative treatment last August, before that could happen he landed in the hospital emergency again in October and almost died. His parents were flown in on an emergency flight because we thought we might lose him at that time. The tumor had completely blocked his stomach and he needed several life-saving surgeries. It was the scariest thing we’ve ever dealt with and are still dealing with.

The doctors in Mexico told us he needed medical help here in the U.S. first to get stable before traveling as he would still have required the same surgeries before receiving alternative treatment there. Many doctors did NOT recommend chemotherapy, but some doctors did recommend it as an option in different forms just to get the growing tumor under control before adding alternative treatments, but with the warning that chemo will not cure and most likely further complicate things, but it’s the only thing that will reduce it. At that point in October with his life on the line, there was no other choice to reduce the tumor but with chemo, even temporarily until he can get additional treatment. After 10 chemo sessions, the tumor has been reduced slightly but has also caused all sorts of other problems (as we were told it would). That’s where we’re at right now. Now after 10 chemo sessions and back in hospital emergency with many complications, chemo is hurting more than it is helping and we need to afford other options. Any help is greatly appreciated as we try to get through this and get him the additional medical help he needs.

Please send all your light and love to Blanquito in this difficult time, and any contribution to his medical expenses will help him immensely right now.

THANK YOU to everybody for all your prayers, blessings and positive energy. Cancer Pa' Fuera!
