I am a preschool teacher for a classroom of 12 amazing students with disabilities. We are currently working on a unit about clothing, and I want to give my students a hands-on project that will help them connect with what they’re learning in a meaningful way. Our plan is for each child to make their own blanket, which will not only reinforce our lessons but also give them a special keepsake to take home.
Many of my students benefit from tactile, real-world experiences, and this project is designed to support their unique learning needs. By making their own blankets, they’ll practice important skills, build confidence, and celebrate their progress in a way that’s both fun and memorable. However, purchasing enough fleece fabric for every student can be costly, and that’s why I’m reaching out for help.
If you can, please help us raise the money needed for fleece so each student has the opportunity to create something lasting. Your support will make a direct impact on our classroom and help my students experience the joy of learning in a new way. Thank you for considering a gift to our project!
