Blanca's legacy of strength!

My siblings and I are asking for help on behalf of our Dad. It is with a heavy, heavy heart to announce that our Dearest Mama Blanca has passed on after a long and brutal battle with an uncommon type Stage 4 Lung Cancer. Mama tried every chemo option available to her over the last three years and exhausted all treatments available. She unfortunately experienced adverse reactions to all treatments in some way or another, but the only one that was actually effective that she could have continued should she have decided to, she experienced the worst ever adverse reactions causing her so much pain. Pain throughout her entire body and was still recovering from it until her last day since December. With that said, she made the decision to refuse any further treatment and chose quality of life, and with the support of her family, she was satisfied with her decision. She furthermore had complications from surgery removing her port in the end.

Mama was such a strong woman hiding most of her pain while showing all the love she could possibly give. Her love was unconditional, and her persistence will always be what brought us together as a family. She loved big and with her whole heart and was such a giving woman.

We decided to make this page to help our Dad with ease of mind with medical expenses and daily living as he grieves alongside us. He was the sole provider for both of them as Mom was unable to work. Dad made sure bills were paid to the best he could but took priority in making sure she was happy and taken care of. Every donation is greatly appreciated and taken with huge "thanks yous!"
