During a racing event over the weekend, Blake had a freak accident which left him with a shattered tibia below the knee. The artery was cut about 2 centimeters, causing a lack of blood flow and resulting in a blood clot. Blake will need 3 more surgeries over the next couple of weeks. This happened out of town, so his wife Laura is 4 hours away from home and will need to stay at a hotel nearby until he is able to come home. Blake will be out of work for a few months as well.
