Blakes Miracle

Hello Friends and family,

As you all know, September 5th, Blake was taken by ambulance to Tri-Star Skyline Hospital due paralysis in his legs, bladder and bowels. 

Blake underwent back surgery almost immediately to remove bone to make room for his narrowing spine (an issue from birth) that was pressing against nerves, as the physicians felt this was a large portion of the problem. Once the surgery took place,  the surgeon felt that there was still a neurological disorder present as well. They have yet to place a diagnosis on what Blake has, but he is still unable to use any lower body functions. 

As of tomorrow his father  Chris will begin unpaid FMLA to be with Blake and his wife Shari as they continue on this journey which will be a very long one without a miracle. (which our family is standing in agreement for a miracle daily.) 

To know Blake, you cant help but  experience his passion for Christ, music and love for people, in every circumstance he has been faced with over his 31 years (which include loss of brain function, 3rd degree burns over 33% of his body, the sudden lost of his biological mother to the journey he is currently traveling....... He ALWAYS continues to worship Christ, smile and thank each and every nurse, physician, physical therapist, friend or family that have checked in on him.

To know Blake is to fall 100% in love with him. Life is contagious when you experience him.  As a family we do-not know how long this journey may last and are daily believing for a miracle, but until that happens, the family has been told the futures unknown.
