Help Blake & Angela Chenault Mixon

Blake mixon was raised in Cypress, Texas, but has called Waller home for about 16 years now . He lives with his wife Angela and their son Blake. Blake is an equipment operator for Harris County and Angela is an Equine Vet.


On October 28 2014 
Blake was coming home from work on his motorcycle traveling down old 290 when he came upon the intersection of FM2920. A car turning left apparently did not see him and slammed into him on his left side cutting his left leg of above the knee . He was knocked off the bike, sending him sliding several hundred feet down the road .

Blake suffered the loss of his left leg and road rash pretty much all over his body. He was life flighted to Memorial Herman Hospital where he was taken into surgery. To date he has undergone several surgeries, has now been moved to a re-hab / therapy center at Memorial Herman Hospital in Katy where he will be until he is able to go home .

His home will have to go under major renovations to accommodate his needs the long road to recovery. With him not being able to work and his wife missing a lot of work to care for him  they can use our help. They need our help with the day-to-day cost of everything from gas and parking, to food, and the normal bills of a house hold.

Blake and Angela Mixon have always put others needs in front of their own, lending a hand to anyone or any organization their hearts led them to .

Blake is a director on the waller county fair board where he was a vital part of the first ever Waller County Mudfest.
