Blakely Messer is a bright, strong, and beautiful 12-year-old whose world was turned upside down with the diagnosis of Acute B-cell Lymphoblastic Leukemia (A.L.L.).

She is just at the beginning of what will be a 2.5-year journey of chemotherapy—a journey filled with hospital visits, countless tests, and the physical and emotional toll that comes with fighting childhood cancer.

Blakely is an amazing sister to 3 siblings and they are also deeply affected by her illness. They are learning to navigate the worry, the changes to daily life, and the many days when their sister has not Bennett’s able to be home with them in almost a week and won’t be home for a while. While their hearts are heavy, they are doing their best to be brave right alongside her.

This diagnosis has brought not only immense emotional strain, but also significant financial burdens from ongoing medical care, travel expenses, and time away from work.
