Blake Peterson

My name is AJ and I am seeking support for my brother Blake.

On Saturday 6th April at approximately 6:10pm, our family received news that shattered our souls and left us feeling as though time had stopped.

Blake had a terrible motorcycle accident where he sustained serious and life threatening injuries.

After undergoing 6 hours of surgery where the surgical team made every effort, the decision was made to amputate Blake’s right leg in an attempt to save his life.

This is the commencement of a harrowing and lengthy journey ahead for Blake.

Blake’s medical team placed him in an induced coma to support with managing his injuries as he remains in a critical condition. At this point, Blake is unaware of the injuries he has sustained.

Blake’s life ahead will require change and support in every aspect. The day to day functions we all take for granted, are now functions Blake will initially be unable to execute.

Aids with the inclusion of prosthetics will be required in supporting Blake with his journey. These aids, continued surgeries and medical expenses are costly and this is where we are reaching out to you for support.
