Help Blake Get Back on All Four Paws

Sweet Blake has already endured TPLO surgery on one of his legs. Unfortunately, on the very day he was told his first leg was fully healed, he is now facing the same painful injury in his other knee—and he needs a second TPLO surgery.

TPLO surgery repairs a torn cranial cruciate ligament, one of the most common and painful orthopedic injuries in dogs. Without surgery, Blake will continue to experience pain and difficulty walking, and the strain on his already-repaired leg could jeopardize the progress he has made.

The estimate for Blake’s surgery is $6,344.95, including the procedure, implants, anesthesia, hospitalization, X-rays, and medications. We are hoping to raise $6,500 to cover his surgery and related care.

Blake has been through so much, but he remains the same sweet, loving boy who deserves the chance to run, play, and enjoy life without pain. Having two major orthopedic surgeries is a lot for any dog, but this procedure will give Blake the best opportunity to regain his mobility and live comfortably again.
