Blake Michael Hagner Memorial Bench

It is with heavy hearts that we come together to support our colleague and friends, Chad and Allison Hagner, who have recently faced an unimaginable tragedy. The Hagners have experienced the heartbreaking loss of their precious baby, Blake Michael Hagner. Blake was born silently into the world on January 14, 2024.

Allison and Chad are both elementary school teachers in our area. Chad teaches Physical Education and coaches at Shenendehowa and Allison teaches reading at Hudson. They have dedicated their lives to helping our children learn—acting as role models and mentors, giving children purpose, and inspiring in them a drive to do well and succeed in life. Now, it's our turn to extend our hearts to provide comfort and assistance during this difficult time.

As their friends and community members, let us work to ease the burden of grief and offer solace to Allison and Chad. We are collecting donations to purchase and install an engraved memorial bench to cherish Blake’s memory. The bench will be placed in Clifton Park at the Hayes Nature Park to provide a quiet place to sit and reflect. It will be appreciated by many people and will help to spread positivity and light in Blake’s name. Any additional funds (after shipping and installation) will go to the Hagners to donate as they choose.
