Blake Main was diagnosed with bacterial meginitis at the age of 4 months. He was hospitalized for the next three months  in Denver CO. During this hospitalization he unfortunately had to have his left leg amputated along with several fingers and toes from the effects from the menigitis. He went home with a G-Tube and had to incur several skin grafts,  Today Blake is a vibrant little boy that has overcome all the obstacles he has had thrown at him. He has learned to walk, ride a bike and climb to the top of a slide! His mom and dad could not be prouder. This week while they were at his regular check up to have a new prosthetic leg fitting they were given some devasting news. Blake will need to have his right foot amputated in the next month. The crippling effects of the menigitis has caused growth plate malformation. This is quite devastating, but we all know that Blake will once again surprise us all and prevail. I ask that we come together and support his mom and dad as much as we can as they travel for the next several months to hospitals and doctor appointments.
