In Loving Memory of Blake John Greenhalgh

It is with broken hearts that we share the passing of Blake John Greenhalgh, a much-loved son, brother, father, partner, and friend. Blake leaves behind his parents Kathryn and Jason, his devoted siblings, Zach, Molly Rose, Jessica, Daniel and Joshua and his beautiful newborn son Kylo, born in August 2025.

Blake grew up in Sunbury, where he was known as a bright, outgoing local boy who brought energy wherever he went. He attended Sunbury Downs College, played junior football with the Diggers Rest Junior Football and Netball Club, and later pursued a plumbing apprenticeship with Specialised Plumbing Drainage Roofing in Sunbury. Blake had an incredible work ethic and a generous spirit that made him unforgettable to everyone he met.

In more recent times, Blake moved to Queensland for a fresh start. It was there he stepped proudly into fatherhood and welcomed the arrival of baby Kylo. Blake loved fiercely, felt deeply, and was the kind of person who could make an entire room laugh. He wore his heart on his sleeve and had a way of making people feel seen and valued.

Blake also lived with the weight of mental health struggles, and tragically, this illness claimed his life on 18 November 2025. His loss has left a profound void in the hearts of all who knew him.

This GoFundMe has been created to support Blake’s family with their funeral costs, legal expenses, and the significant costs involved in bringing Blake home to Sunbury so he can be laid to rest beside his beloved Poppy. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help ease the financial burden during a time of unimaginable grief.

For those who knew Blake, you will remember him as the life of the party, the friend who showed up without hesitation, and the young man who loved with everything he had. His legacy lives on in his family, in his community, and most of all, in his precious son Kylo.
