In Memory of Blake Daly

Blake Bardeau Daly was diagnosed with Atypical Teratoid Rhabdoid Tumor (ATRT) on February 18th 2017. For over 4 years, she went through two major craniotomies, two tumor removals, a g-tube placement, broviac placement, bacterial meningitis, Gamma Knife radiation, an Omamaya reservoir placement, shunt placement and countless amounts of high and low dose chemotherapy.

Blake’s cancer diagnosis was extremely rare at only 1% of the pediatric brain tumors. Just like her rare cancer, Blake was one of a kind. Her spirit never faded no matter how many trials she was put through.

On June 23rd 2021, Blake took her last breath with her mom and dad by her side. She was surrounded with an incredible amount of love and her spirit will live on within every single life she touched.

This memory fund will help alleviate any financial stress that Chris and Amber will face in the coming days/weeks/months, with the remainder being donated to Amber’s chosen foundation, Cure ATRT Now.

I hope that every time you see a hummingbird, ladybug or rainbow that you think of Blakie and her perfect spirit.
