Blake Cody West Memorial Fundraiser- To Benefit Baby Girl

UPDATE 05/27/2025-

Due to multiple requests, we have re-opened the GoFundMe for Donations. Blake’s services were completed on 04/04/2025. There is a current plan set up for the costs of his Headstone. Going further this GoFundMe is to go directly into a Trust for Blake’s 15-month-old Daughter, due to right now Blake did not meet the requirements for RSDI- Survivor Benefits due to his young age. We are still hoping his work from this year may help him qualify, but we won’t know for quite a while. All funds are being handled by myself, Jodi Lyn Lindsey, on behalf of my son, and being set up directly for his daughter specifically. We appreciate all of your help!!!

UPDATE 04/05/2025-

We would like to thank each and every one of you for your support, both financially and emotionally. We were able to lay Our Son to rest on 04/04/2025 at 2:30pm. Our Powell Family donated Blake’s Final Resting Place & the total for the services and burial of Blake were $16,000. We have raised around $9,000 as of now, but are still needing help and support. We will need to provide a headstone for Blake, as well as some financial assistance for his 18 year old wife and his 13 month old daughter. Please know that every dollar helps us tremendously, so even $5 or $10 donations quickly add up. Please continue to share this GoFundMe so we can finalize Blake Cody’s final needs, as well as provide some financial assistance to his beautiful young family.

Our 19 year old son, Blake Cody West, tragically lost his life in a 4-Wheeling Accident on March 30, 2025. He was surrounded by his wife, siblings and father at the time of the accident. As a 2024 Graduate of Southwest High School, Blake worked hard to support his High School Sweetheart, D'leijah, and their beautiful daughter, Aurabella Marie West. Unfortunately at the time of the accident, we did not have life insurance for Blake, and we are asking for any and all help to provide a proper burial for our son. Any remaining money will be given to his wife and daughter to help with living expenses and funds to continue to provide care for both of them.
