Blake Bargatze's Double Lung Transplant Fund

As many of you may know, Blake Bargatze, Cheryl Nuclo's son, was hit hard by COVID-19. He has been battling the virus since April 10th and has been on the ventilator and ECMO for months.
He was initially admitted to ICU at St. Mary's in West Palm Beach, FL on April 10th, and then he was air transported to Piedmont Atlanta Hospital on April 24th to be placed on ECMO. Many complications occurred during his hospital stay that caused extensive damage to his lungs, requiring the need for a double lung transplant to survive. Blake was transferred to the University of Maryland Medical Center on June 12th. He remains on the ventilator and ECMO as he waits for the lung transplant.
Blake is 24 years old and is a fighter! He wants to live and is determined to succeed... and he will!!
He and his family, especially his warrior mom, will be facing a very long road of pre and post-transplant, recovery and rehabilitation (at least 6-8 months in Baltimore, away from their home in Sugar Hill, GA). There will be many expenses that will not be covered by Blake's insurance. I am organizing this fundraiser on Blake's behalf, and I humbly ask for donations to help with post-care housing, rehabilitation support, and medical expenses not covered by insurance.
