Hi my name is Charlotte , I gave birth at 26 weeks to baby Blair weighing only 2 pounds.

Baby Blair is currently fighting for his life on NICU in St Mary’s Hospital in Manchester.

My partner Ryan and I are now on day 12 at the unit and the hospital are ready to discharge me with just a few hours notice and we have no where to go and I do not want to leave my poorly baby boy alone.

We are still awaiting a room in the Ronald McDonald charity house so that we can be close to our little boy. However they are unable to tell us how long this will take. Over the weekend our son has taken a turn for the worse, he is very sick and his lungs are extremely weak so we cannot even contemplate being more than a few minutes away from him.

The only option we are left with is to find air b and b or hotel accommodation close by in order to stay by his side where his mummy and daddy should be.

We have found a hotel near by the hospital that is £580 a week. This is a lot of money especially when we could be in this position for a minimum of a few weeks. We are out of work due to the situation and spending a fortune having nowhere to prepare meals, living out of carrier bags day to day aswell as managing the bills at our home that we still need to pay etc.

our friends and family suggested that we should reach out on here for support. We have never had to ask for this kind of help before and we don’t feel confortable doing it but don’t know what else to do. Right now we will do whatever it takes to be close to our little boy Blair.

Anything anyone can contribute no matter how small is so very appreciated by us and our little fighter Blair.

The next few days are critical for him and we as parents couldn’t ever forgive ourselves if we were not close to him. Thank you for reading , please keep our little boy in your prayers
