Hi, I’m Blair.

Some of you know me as the comic artist who worked on DOCTOR WHO, GHOSTBUSTERS, LEGENDS OF OZ, TORCHWOOD, RICK AND MORTY, and more.

Well, I haven’t had a big project in a while. It’s been 10 years since I worked on The Ninth Doctor: Weapons of Past Destruction for Titan Comics.

I’ve done covers and fill ins, and posters and album art since then, but nothing as big, expansive, or plainly, profitable.

I’m currently working on a graphic novel that I hope readers will be into, but I doubt it’ll be profitable either.

However, all that has come to a stop. I can’t work.

Yesterday, November 24th, I found my work computer, a 2014 iMac was stuck in a restart loop. After Googling and bringing it to techs at Best Buy, it was determined the best thing to do was data recovery. So all my work is safe.

However, my ability to create new work or continue work on previous projects is not; the computer cannot be repaired. Apple itself considers it obsolete so parts are very hard or expensive to come by.

So I have to get a new machine.

But I barely make enough to cover my bills, much less buy a new computer (and monitor - because the iPad had one built in). Lack of big jobs and smaller jobs lost to AI haven’t been of help.

Thus here I am.

I priced out a Mac Mini with the bare minimum I’d need (and hopefully keep this machine relevant for the next 10 years) at $2599. There’s also a monitor to be comparable to my iMac screen. And finally the data recovery.

Any funds raised will go to the above, in order to get my business - the only thing I’m good at - back up and running.
