Hi my name is Gail mother of Blairs older children and on Sunday 5th October Blair passed away.
Blair was especially known for frying fish and chips which he loved doing in and around Surrey working at most Seafares over the years. Most of his life was pleasing the public and chatting to them when they came into the chip shops. He loved his job and later in life moved to Market Deeping where he worked in The Boundary take away and restaurant. He also had his own fish and chip van after working at The Boundary for a few years. Then ill health struck with his diabetes and having a small stroke in 2018 which left him unable to work even though he did try.
Blairs health deteriorated early this year to having a serious stroke and leaving him very unstable. On Thursday 2nd he had another stroke and this time had an inoperable bleed on the brain which led to his passing on Sunday.
Blair was a true gentleman and loving caring father to his 3 boys Steven Barry and Lee he also had a grandchild Lacey who he spoke with regularly. Blair also had 3 young children with his current partner and they will all miss him terribly.
Everyone that knew Blair would agree that he was the most liked and loved gentleman around. He dedicated his life to his work in the fish and chip trade which he had done since he was 16. His mum has now lost both her children and is finding this very hard.
i would ask if you could help with any little donation towards his funeral would be so much appreciated as his sons did not realise how much it would cost. Every little will help them out to give Blair the send off he deserves.
Blair was such an amazing loving kind thoughtful man at whatever he did.
He was the best dad anyone could have had and he loved his children unconditionally he never had anything bad to say about anyone was always jolly and thoughtful.
Funeral details will be posted as soon as a date has been confirmed they I’ll be In Hereford which is were he has lived with his younger family for the past few years.
