In Loving Memory of Blaine – “19Floating”
On the 4th of July 2025, my world changed forever. My eldest son, Blaine, who just turned 24 years old on 26th June, took his own life by jumping into the River Thames from London Bridge. As a single mother to five children, my heart has been torn. Blaine was not only my firstborn but also a gifted artist and music producer, a dreamer, and a soul who touched many with his creativity and supportive kind nature. A mind beyond his years, born under the sign of Cancer, hard on the outside, soft on the inside.
He leaves behind unfinished work, unspoken words, and family and friends who loved him deeply.
Blaine was known as “19Floating” in the music scene — a name that carried his vision of expression, freedom, and resilience. His journey was cut far too short, but his story does not have to end here.
I am asking for your help to give Blaine the farewell he deserves. Your support will go towards his funeral expenses, allowing his siblings, loved ones and myself to lay him to rest with dignity, love, and peace.
But beyond that, I want to honour Blaine’s legacy by creating something lasting in his name:
✨ A foundation for young people struggling with mental health
✨ A safe space and youth centre where creativity, support, and community can flourish.
✨The continuation of his music through preserving his estate in Trust.
Blaine had a passion for music and skateboarding, two communities that bring the youth together and help channell creativity and unexpressed energy. There aren't many spaces for young people to gather and be supported.
Too many young lives are lost to silent battles. Blaine’s passing is a painful reminder that we need more safe spaces, more conversations, and more opportunities for young people to be seen, heard, and receive the guidance and assistance they may require.
This is bigger than just one family’s grief. With your kindness, we can transform tragedy into hope. Together, we can make sure Blaine’s name lives on — not only through his music, but through a movement that uplifts others in their darkest moments.
No donation is too small. Every share, every kind word, every contribution helps us bring light out of this darkness. Please SHARE as much as possible.
From the depths of my heart, thank you in advance for helping us celebrate Blaine’s life and continue his legacy.
With love and gratitude, I am grateful for the support thus far which has been carrying me through this grief.
