As of today, September 19, 2020, my fiancé Blaine Sadler was in an accident in his water bottle truck during his night shift at Equipment Transport in WV. The truck had rolled and Blaine had to be cut out of the truck and was life flighted to Morgantown, WV to receive help at Ruby Memorial Hospital. Blaine ended up with brain hemorrhage and two blood clots, one on each side of the brain from hitting his head so hard in the cab of the truck. He has had two surgeries thus far, one to remove the blood clot and the other to remove part of his skull to help relieve the pressure building on his brain. He had to have 2 drains coming from his head to drain the blood out, has been on a ventilator to help with his breathing, and is on multiple medications for pain and sedation. Once the swelling goes down, he will need another surgery to have the piece replaced from his skull. After he receives all the care the hospital can give to him, he will need to go to a nursing facility to have physical, occupational, and speech therapy. He has a very long road ahead of him for recovery to eventually come home, but he is the strongest man I know and I along with the rest of his family will never give up hope that he will one day be home where he belongs. Blaine is a father of a beautiful 10 year old little girl Juliana, a wonderful fiancé to me and even better brother and son. Please help donate towards the medical bills Blaine may incur due to this freak accident, as well as funds needed for hotel stays for myself and his parents, food, gas and any other situations we may need help with due to the accident. As of right now we haven't received any workers comp yet and are surviving only off my my small checks and what we have in the savings. I have no idea when everything will finally be finalized so any and all donations are welcomed, as well as prayers for staying stable, having a successful future surgery, and a speedy recovery. All of us from the Sadler family greatly appreciate everything from everyone during this difficult time and we will keep everyone updated as we are updated on his condition. Thank you all so much for your concerns, prayers, and generosity. It all has meant so much to us and we greatly appreciate it. God bless all of you!!! Love,Katelyn, Barb, Blaine, Brendon, Brianna, Juliana, Chris, Mark, and Anna Sadler.
