Blaine Scot Prow was an incredible kid who could literally do anything he set his mind to, from award-winning Lego builds to complete motorcycle makeovers. His greatest self-learned accomplishments, though, were through music. Starting with bass guitar, he soon learned to play acoustic and electric guitar, as well as keyboard instruments. He played bass with a couple of talented local artists but, over the years, composed and self-recorded over an album's worth of his own songs. Blaine kept these songs to himself, consumed with self-doubt and depression, despite his outward happy-go-lucky demeanor. Sadly, his demons got the best of him and he took his own life on March 15, 2020. Because his passing took place at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been no opportunity to have a public memorial to honor Blaine's life. As Blaine's 32nd birthday, as well as the first anniversary of his passing quickly approach, his family and his musical partners are determined to memorialize him with proper studio recordings of as many of his original songs as possible. To that end, we are raising money to cover recording studio and other production costs. Any proceeds raised beyond such costs will be donated to To Write Love On Her Arms (TWLOHA), a non-profit charity dedicated to mental health awareness and suicide prevention.
